My name is Kristen Chavous, and a Junior this semester. I have been placed at Nevils Elementary School in 3rd grade under the teachings of Mrs. Fields. I have never been a part of a 3rd grade class and am very eager to get to know these kids and hope to be a special part of their lives for these couple of months!

I had third grade last semester at Brooklet Elementary and loved it! The students are at that age where they are between innocence and learning about themselves. It's rather cute. They begin to show their true charateristics. You won't believe they funny thing you hear:)
ReplyDeleteI read in your About Me column that you want to try and teach Kindergarten through Second grade. I too want to stay in that range. I know that I will not be that picky when I am looking for a job. I can say that I am ready to be in my own classroom teaching my own students. I am with an EIP teacher at Claxton Elementary School and it has been a great experience. By observing her I get to work with students of all ages.

I really enjoyed 4th grade, but I think I want to teach 2nd grade, if I have the opportunity! You're going to be a great teacher! Good luck!
